Three Cheers for the Red, White, and Blue

Today was Miss Carroll's Doll Study Club's luncheon, Three Cheers for the Red, White, and Blue.

Besides the regular Helper selection, the club had put together a special helper: a 12" fashion doll, with trunk, wardrobe, and accessories.

There were plenty of door prizes, everyone won one.

And the dealers had some wonderful items at their tables.

The tables were festively decorated in red, white, and blue.

Each centerpiece consisted of a white tree decorated patriotically, a handmade cloth doll, a doll quilt, a military diorama, a handmade teddy bear, Uncle Sam on a bicycle, a framed ribbon doll, and a patriotic charm bracelet.

The programs were adorned with beautiful paperdoll ornaments.

The competition was fierce in the handmade patriotic outfit category.

After a wonderful program, attendees were presented with the souvenir - a MIM doll in a modern take of a Columbia outfit.

A grand time was had by all.
