My Friend Mandy was produced by Fisher Price and released in 1977. She is 16 inches tall and has a cloth body with a vinyl head and limbs. She was designed to be machine washable for easy cleaning.
Later dolls in the series were Becky (red head), Jenny (Asian Brunette), Mikey (boy), and Nicky (African American).
These are photos of the Mandy outfits I own and a picture of Mandy (taken yesterday) in her overalls.
As you can see, she has held up well over the years.
